What is the mindset? It’s your daily attitude. It is how you perceive all your life’s experiences. Sounds important, does it?
The right mindset is the ability to trust and believe in yourself. It’s a set of beliefs that will determine what life results you are going to get.
I have been obsessed my whole life figuring out why some people become successful and others don’t. What is the secret sauce? What Kool-Aid flavor are they drinking?
I believe we all born the same, not in the same circumstances, but we all wired the same. So, if you had a childhood where you had enough, it does not guarantee that you are set for life. Vice versa, if you come from humble beginnings it does not automatically put you in a struggle zone indefinitely.
Remember, that we all have a choice. You can choose to train your mind and create new habits that will bring you closer to the life you desire. Think of your mindset as a well-oiled engine of your car. You chose a destination, you have directions, but your engine will not start. In order to stay on the road, you will need a strong motor that can help you overcome detours and construction on the road. Luckily, there are many ways you can start today to change your mindset and none of them require complicated rules or financial obligations, all you need is to make a choice to move forward to the life that you desire, so you can finally have it all.
How to start to work on your mindset:
1. Find books and articles that speak to you about the growth. See a list of books that are powerful on the subject.
2. Recognize what you would like to change.
3. Set a goal. Always write it down.
4. Work on establishing good habits.
5. Honor your own timing.
